Acrilic yarn OHW
Soon as I read the "Overhand worm treatise" by Chris Bum, I wanted to try it and was absolutely sure that "my" local peacocks would love it.
Actually, since they catch on almost anything that falls into to the water (even a bare hook), I was a little surprised I never before figured out a so simple fly could work for them.
The aspect I like most is that you can tie it on the go and change the hook dress to try different colors without even untying it from the tippet.
Practical and efficient, what else can anyone ask!?

As age slows my pace, I will become more like the heron.
We've all had situations where seriously chewed up flies kept catching fish after fish after fish. It is no sin to tie flies that come off the vise looking seriously chewed up.
The hooks are sharp.
The coffee's hot.
The fish are slippery when wet.
