Your Tenkara Stories

Tenkara Trips and Tips

I have started a Volume 2 of the Your Tenkara Stories.

Click to go to Your Tenkara Stories vol 2

This is where you share your stories. Everybody has at least one. First trip, the one that got away, outfished your buddies, or just tips and tricks. Tell us yours.

Your thoughts and comments might be just what it takes to persuade another angler that tenkara is more than just an interesting idea. It's something they should really try for themselves.

Submissions that include links will not be published.

Just to be safe, please make a copy of your submission before you hit the submit button. I did have one comment that didn't come through and had to be rewritten.

“The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten” - Benjamin Franklin

"Be sure in casting, that your fly fall first into the water, for if the line fall first, it scares or frightens the fish..." -
Col. Robert Venables 1662

As age slows my pace, I will become more like the heron.

We've all had situations where seriously chewed up flies kept catching fish after fish after fish. It is no sin to tie flies that come off the vise looking seriously chewed up.

Warning:

The hooks are sharp.
The coffee's hot.
The fish are slippery when wet.

Beware of the Dogma
