I'm up in beautiful Montana for the summer and just used my two new rods, a Diawa 43M and a Nissin Fujiryu 6:4 410. I fish the Madison a lot, really good size fish and beautiful water. These rods are amazing for reach and getting bigger fish to the net quickly for release. Tuesday I had 4 fish in the first 20 minutes all were 16 to 18 inches. The 43M handled them with no problem.

The Nissin has put several fish in the 16" to 18" range in the net on #18s and #20s. I am really impressed with these two rods. Of the rods I have these are my fav's. Ken

As age slows my pace, I will become more like the heron.
