First, thank you for selling the equipment/tackle that you do. I received the Nissin Sasuke 5ft rod and it is fantastic. Within thirty minutes I was at the small ditch that runs down the side of the property. I have always seen small fish in it and you sold me the equipment to hook them. I had a 2LB tippet with a #20 fly hook and a Owner float. I used pieces of baloney and they loved it. For my line I used 4LB fire line. They say it is a 1LB diameter, looks a little bigger than that but it seemed to work well.

As age slows my pace, I will become more like the heron.
We've all had situations where seriously chewed up flies kept catching fish after fish after fish. It is no sin to tie flies that come off the vise looking seriously chewed up.
The hooks are sharp.
The coffee's hot.
The fish are slippery when wet.
