Bows and dollies and cohos

Fished the Kenai and Russian Rivers in Alaska last year with my buddies. We caught more than 1000 rainbows, dollies and cohos on tenkara. Even drift boated on the Kenai with a Kiyose rod and caught a 26 inch dolly. Many bows were over 18 inches on the Amago and Kiyose. Biggest bow was 24 while the biggest coho was 28. Like walking a wolf. Blast x 1000!

As age slows my pace, I will become more like the heron.

We've all had situations where seriously chewed up flies kept catching fish after fish after fish. It is no sin to tie flies that come off the vise looking seriously chewed up.
