Big Brown backwards

by Ken
(MT)

I was on the Madison in Montana today. Great day 6 fish all over 16" in two and 1/2 hrs. First fish was a real challenge though. Ever foul hook a 17" brown in fairly fast water in a big river right smack in the tail? The fishin' gods smiled on me today> I landed him. I must have been 50 to 75yds downstream from where I hooked him. Nobody told me that Tenkara was a athletic event. Look out olympics. Ken

As age slows my pace, I will become more like the heron.

Warning:

The hooks are sharp.
The coffee's hot.
The fish are slippery when wet.
