Almost a Colorado Grandslam

by K L

Headed out for the first Fall fishing this year, finally! Boulder Creek was low and the fish spooky but if you approached them with care, you could not keep them off the hook. Fished many different sakasa kebaris all with good results. Around 30 fish - mostly brown trout, 2 rainbows, 2 brookies and a cuttbow. Tenkara Fall Fishing at it's best. Oh, and all of them were caught on the Daiwa Sagiri!

“The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten” - Benjamin Franklin

"Be sure in casting, that your fly fall first into the water, for if the line fall first, it scares or frightens the fish..." -
Col. Robert Venables 1662

As age slows my pace, I will become more like the heron.

Warning:

The hooks are sharp.
The coffee's hot.
The fish are slippery when wet.
