Almost a Colorado Grandslam

by K L

Headed out for the first Fall fishing this year, finally! Boulder Creek was low and the fish spooky but if you approached them with care, you could not keep them off the hook. Fished many different sakasa kebaris all with good results. Around 30 fish - mostly brown trout, 2 rainbows, 2 brookies and a cuttbow. Tenkara Fall Fishing at it's best. Oh, and all of them were caught on the Daiwa Sagiri!

What fishes qualify you for a Grand Slam?
by: JDSmith

Nice post Karel. Great pictures of the fish as well. I see you like your Sagiri too. I finally got a chance to fish mine a few weeks ago for the first time and I absolutely love it. 13"er out of the current and into the net with no worries. Great rod!

I'm curious as to what you consider a Co. Grand Slam? If the Cuttbow would have been a pure Cutthroat, would you have hit it out of the park?

As age slows my pace, I will become more like the heron.

The hooks are sharp.
The coffee's hot.
The fish are slippery when wet.
