1st Trout on TB36

by Rob R (FJ Guy)
(Ruidoso, NM, USA)

The rainbow is a bit beat up but I caught him on the Tenkarabum 36 using 3.6 meters of #3 level line and a cased caddis with tungsten beadhead. It was so easy to cast. The photo of the Brown was caught on my Daiwa Sagiri 39MC using a glass bead Ishigaki Kebari.

Enjoyed the pics. Were the 'bow and brown caught on the Rio Ruidoso? I live down near the Peñasco and fish the Ruidoso from time to time.

As age slows my pace, I will become more like the heron.

Warning:

The hooks are sharp.
The coffee's hot.
The fish are slippery when wet.
