1st Trout on TB36

by Rob R (FJ Guy)
(Ruidoso, NM, USA)

The rainbow is a bit beat up but I caught him on the Tenkarabum 36 using 3.6 meters of #3 level line and a cased caddis with tungsten beadhead. It was so easy to cast. The photo of the Brown was caught on my Daiwa Sagiri 39MC using a glass bead Ishigaki Kebari.

“The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten” - Benjamin Franklin

"Be sure in casting, that your fly fall first into the water, for if the line fall first, it scares or frightens the fish..." -
Col. Robert Venables 1662

As age slows my pace, I will become more like the heron.

Warning:

The hooks are sharp.
The coffee's hot.
The fish are slippery when wet.
