The Zerosum rods are classic JDM quality. True tenkara rods and absolutely the Crown Jewels in my rod collection. These have it all, light, sensitive, precise casting. Expensive, yes, but you get every bit of performance you expect for the price. I have landed many small bass and sunfish on the rod so far. If I had to choose one favorite rod (hopefully that never happens) the Zerosums take the cake.

We've all had situations where seriously chewed up flies kept catching fish after fish after fish. It is no sin to tie flies that come off the vise looking seriously chewed up.
