Been getting some use out of the Sasuke! Plenty of bluegill, and now some saltwater fun in Puget Sound! Staghorn sculpin, shiner perch and even a few very young flounder! Pacific sandabs I think. Great fun on the Sasuke! A fellow fisherman I was with even hooked an approximately 4 inch salmon on his Kyotaki 21! It escaped at the surface, but was fun to watch! Tight lines and no reels! Mike W. As age slows my pace, I will become more like the heron.
We've all had situations where seriously chewed up flies kept catching fish after fish after fish. It is no sin to tie flies that come off the vise looking seriously chewed up.
The hooks are sharp.
The coffee's hot.
The fish are slippery when wet.
