Learn hot new European Nymphing techniques from Vladi Trzebunia, world fly fishing champion and innovator of the Polish Nymphing technique (the original technique, from which Czech Nymphing, French Nymphing, Spanish Nymphing and now Euro-Nymphing were developed). Hosted by fly fishing legend and Fly Fishing Team USA head coach, Jack Dennis. As coach, Jack realized that effective Euro nymphing gave Europeans a virtual lock on medals in the World Championships. To learn more, Jack enlisted Vladi to help coach the team.
Vladi will teach you to become a more effective nymph fisherman without the use of indicators. By mastering these skills you should be able to double your hookups and add to your nymphing sucess in moving water.
Joining Vladi are Pete Erickson and Jay Buchner, both veteran members of Team USA. Together they will instruct you in Czech, Polish, Spanish and French Nymphing while you learn about the flies, knots, rigging and casting, all essential to the successs of the method.
EURPEAN FLY TYING
Step-by-step, Vladi will tie his famous woven Polish Nymphs and the "Vladi worm." Vladi is considered the father of the "Czech nymph" style of tying.
As a bonus, Jack Dennis presents French, Italian and Portuguese fly tiers with exciting new bead headed nymphs, all tied step-by-step on location at Sweden's 2005 World Fly Fishing Championships.

“The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten” - Benjamin Franklin
"Be sure in casting, that your fly fall first into the water, for if the line fall first, it scares or frightens the fish..." -
Col. Robert Venables 1662
As age slows my pace, I will become more like the heron.
We've all had situations where seriously chewed up flies kept catching fish after fish after fish. It is no sin to tie flies that come off the vise looking seriously chewed up.
The hooks are sharp.
The coffee's hot.
The fish are slippery when wet.
Beware of the Dogma
Seriously, all the hooks sold on TenkaraBum.com, whether packaged as loose hooks or incorporated into flies, are sharp - or as Daiichi says on their hook packages, Dangerously Sharp. Some have barbs, which make removal from skin, eyes or clothing difficult. Wear eye protection. Wear a broad-brimmed hat. If you fish with or around children, bend down all hook barbs and make sure the children wear eye protection and broad-brimmed hats. Be aware of your back cast so no one gets hooked.
Also, all the rods sold on TenkaraBum.com will conduct electricity. Do not, under any circumstances, fish during a thunder storm. Consider any fishing rod to be a lightning rod! Fishing rods can and do get hit by lightning!
