TenkaraBum Challenge - Smallmouth Bass
by Alan Deutsch
Gold Bead Killer Bugger Size 12
This Smallmouth is the 10th species I've caught on the Killer Bugger from this small and shallow warm water brook.
There are another 2-3 species available that I hope to catch but it's getting much harder to target them because of all the sunfish. I never paid much attention to the large variety in this body of water until this challenge.
The Killer Bugger is an amazing pattern and will always be in my selection. I especially like it in size 14 or 12 with and without a gold bead and a plain weighted size 20 for the larger micros.

As age slows my pace, I will become more like the heron.
The hooks are sharp.
The coffee's hot.
The fish are slippery when wet.
