Shortnose Gar

Shortnose Gar 2nd Gar landed on beach Size 12 beadhead killer bugger honorably retired

I returned to Indian Creek with renewed focus and a bigger net. And also a good location tip from Zach Janssen a local carp on the fly specialist. The setup for both fish was the Kiyose 33SF with a size 12 bead head Killer Bugger.

If you're going after a lot of gar some heavy scud hooks would be a good idea.
