My son Finney loves "stickelbacking" and when I told him about the blue fly challenge he got really excited and said he was going to win and catch 100 stickelbacks. We tied up a piece of fluff on a micro hook and of we went to the stickleback pond. He soon found out that sadly they are not as attracted to blue as he had hoped and what would have normally been a 40 fish outing turned out only 7 on the dock. He was a little discouraged with the numbers but we had a great time anyway.

Nice work micro fishing

Considering they didn't care for the blue fly, catching that many takes skill. Impressive!

As age slows my pace, I will become more like the heron.

The hooks are sharp.
The coffee's hot.
The fish are slippery when wet.
