1st micro blue

by Daniel Neiswender
(castlerock, co, usa)

The fly is an overhand knot on a tanago hook. This is my first intentional micro, first blue fly challange entry, and first fish on my new Kiotaki 27! Warm day about 2 o'clock in the afternoon. I had a few hookups and kickoffs before I landed this guy. Not sure the species but it had a purple strip along its back. Thank you Chris for your suggestion and challenge! It's a blast!

Nice Micro
by: Levi Cain

Nice Catch, its good seeing people catch micros and submitting the pics. There are so many bluegills on here you would think that was the only fish that takes a blue fly LOL.

As age slows my pace, I will become more like the heron.

The hooks are sharp.
The coffee's hot.
The fish are slippery when wet.
