1st micro blue

The fly is an overhand knot on a tanago hook. This is my first intentional micro, first blue fly challange entry, and first fish on my new Kiotaki 27! Warm day about 2 o'clock in the afternoon. I had a few hookups and kickoffs before I landed this guy. Not sure the species but it had a purple strip along its back. Thank you Chris for your suggestion and challenge! It's a blast!

As age slows my pace, I will become more like the heron.
The hooks are sharp.
The coffee's hot.
The fish are slippery when wet.
