Used Tenkara Rods

From time to time there are used tenkara rods offered on the Tenkara USA forum Marketplace section. Of course, they're all Tenkara USA rods. Now, though, there are other brands available but there really isn't a place for someone looking for a used Fountainhead rod, or for someone who decides his Shimano Mainstream might not be what he wanted after all.
I think there might be interest in an independent, unaffiliated tenkara rod "exchange." If you have a rod you'd be willing to sell or trade, let me know. If you want a used rod, let me know. I might be able to bring buyer and seller together. I will not be a buyer or seller, and won't be involved in the actual transaction (and won't be responsible if it falls through, either). One more thing - I never know the price that the seller wants or what the rods eventually sell for. That is between the buyer and the seller.

Even if someone has already listed the same rod you want to buy or sell, it makes sense to list yours as well. You might have different ideas about the price, or have additional items to offer along with the rod.

One last point - this is a free service to help the tenkara community. There is no charge to buyer or seller. I have been told (by someone who probably knows more about sales than I do) that I should really charge for this service - it is a service and it does take time to send out emails to people with each new rod offered or wanted. Rather than charging a listing fee, or even putting up a tip jar, I just hope you'll buy from me some of the things that you need to buy if you do any fishing:
