Caught a 21" Brown trout on a size 22 Midge parachute.
Observed taking size 20-24 naturals on the surface in very calm water by the bank, and believing them to be sipping emergers, I tied on a midge parachute that I had tied. He gently took the Size 22 I offered and I waited a second or two to set the hook.
7x STROFT tippet, 12' leader, 6' bamboo rod, Abel TR Light reel. Took about 3 minutes to bring to net after a few hard runs.

The hooks are sharp.
The coffee's hot.
The fish are slippery when wet.
