Wader Gaiters
This wader gaiter is the model worn by Dr. Ishigaki. They protect your expensive waders from pinhole leaks that you will get from kneeling along the bank, which he often does for extreme stealth. They will also protect expensive waders from the pinhole leaks you will get from walking through streamside brush (and from your own flies, which is probably a bigger problem than most people want to admit). The manufacturer lists a reduction in water resistance when wading as a major benefit, but for tenkara anglers, for whom stealth is critical, I think the protection when kneeling is a much bigger advantage. Half Finger Gloves
Half finger gloves (large) - $12So what good is not having to worry about freezing guides if you get freezing hands? These half finger gloves allow you to fish (and tie knots) in relative comfort. Ragg wool for a good blend of durability and frugality, while still retaining some warmth when wet. Wear a pair of surgical gloves (available at your local pharmacy) under the half finger gloves. They'll keep your hands dry and you'll still be able to tie knots.
TenkaraBum Caps
Cotton twill or denim, one size fits most. The twill caps have velcro closure. The denim ones have a sliding metal buckle. Increased postage cost for international shipments is reflected in the price of the cap.

Streamworks Hatlight Plus
The Streamworks Hatlight Plus has one huge advantage over most headlights. It is very small and very light and clips onto the bill of your cap. The part that has the LED lights is under the bill, and the front part pivots so you can point it downwards at what you are trying to see. The light easily separates from the clip so you can also use it as a flashlight. More info...

Shipping
TenkaraBum Caps and/or the Hatlight can be mailed domestically for $3. Most small items can be combined and mailed for a flat $3 charge. Postage costs for international shipments are higher, and are reflected in the price.International Priority Mail is faster but more expensive. If international customers would prefer to have their packages sent by International Priority Mail I will do so.
